Alex Landrin

I'm a product designer based in Magdeburg, Germany, with over five years in UI/UX and product design and seven years in brand design, built on a background that bridges mathematics, media informatics, and hands-on product craft.

At aiio GmbH I design Polaris, an AI-powered B2B platform for business process modeling, where I built the design system from scratch and still shape its token architecture, component patterns, and German-language voice.

My process starts in Figma, where I visualise and pressure-test ideas quickly, then moves into Claude Design and Claude Code to take those explorations all the way to pixel-perfect interfaces and working front-end code. My designs don't stop at static mockups. I ship them as real, responsive components in React & Tailwind, validated in the browser where users will actually meet them.

Alongside my product work I run LogoMint, a brand studio that has served 500+ clients across identity, naming and product design, with projects spanning African, European and North American markets.

I founded ACADEMIA, a francophone African creative-education community of 1,000+ members and a design channel on YouTube with 10,000 subscribers, built around a curriculum I wrote myself. I also ship independent software, including a set of Adobe Illustrator UXP plugins.

I'm Franco-Cameroonian and work in French, German and English. What I bring to a product team is the mix: close to a decade of brand thinking, systems rigor from a mathematics background, the entrepreneurial range of building and running my own ventures, and the cultural fluency to design for markets on three continents.
